Lane closed on SR 4 as crews recover a vehicle from the lake

Dayton, Ohio – The right lane of State Route 4 northbound will be restricted as workers try to recover a car that drove into a lake.

A white Chevrolet pickup vehicle crossed into the oncoming lanes of State Route 4 north, just before the exit for State Route 444, according to emergency crews on the scene.

Following a collision with the guardrail, the vehicle veered over a fence and ended up in a nearby lake. The vehicle left toolboxes and other items scattered around the area.

When emergency crews got on the site, the vehicle was empty, and nod river has been identified as of yet.

State Route 4 northbound will be closed as workers remove the vehicle from the lake.
