Dayton, Ohio – The City of Dayton’s observance of the Labor Day holiday on September 2 will impact waste and recycling collection schedules for residents in Dayton, Moraine, and Jefferson Township.
Changes to Collection Schedules
In Dayton, waste and recycling collection will be delayed by one day throughout the entire week. Due to the revised schedule, there will be no bulk waste pickup on Friday, September 6.
In Moraine, garbage and recycling normally collected on Friday will instead be picked up on Saturday, September 7.
For Jefferson Township residents, collections will also be delayed by one day throughout the week, with recycling and bulk collection moved to Saturday, September 7.
Residents are reminded to place their containers at the usual collection points by 6 a.m. on their scheduled collection day. For further assistance, residents can contact customer service at 937-333-4800.
