Dayton, Ohio – Several shots were fired and a woman was wounded in Dayton early Friday morning.
Dayton police responded to a report of a woman shot around 4 a.m. in the 2900 block of Tubman Ave., according to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch.
As soon as officers got on the scene, they discovered the woman had been shot in the face. Emergency crews transported her to a hospital for treatment. Hospital officials said the victim’s injuries were non-life-threatening.
There have been no arrests made yet.
An investigation into this incident is underway.
