Hit-and-run accident causes significant delays in traffic, leaves three children injured

Dayton, Ohio – A hit-and-run accident that caused significant delays in traffic in Dayton on Tuesday morning also left an infant and two other kids injured.

According to a witness, an unidentified dark-colored truck did not stop at a stop sign and crashed into a black car in the 200 block of North Main Street, causing the driver of the car to spin out. The dark-colored truck then fled the area.

At this moment, there is no information about suspects.

Among those injured were three children who were traveling in the vehicle at the time of the accident. Information about the extent of the injuries the kids suffered was not released, but, according to a witness, CPR was performed on one of the kids by a passerby.

The Dayton Police Department officers on the scene reported that the injured infant had been transported to the hospital.
