Gas prices in Ohio skyrocketed in just a week

Ohio – According to AAA, the price of gas has increased significantly from a week ago when it was $3.61, and the national average price for gas now stands at $4.06.

One year ago, gas prices were $2.76 a gallon.

The price of oil has soared as a result of Russia’s military operation in Ukraine.

The underlying cost of oil, according to CNBC, accounts for more than 50% of the cost of gas at the pump.

The average price of gas in Ohio is $3.83 per gallon, which is a 50 cent raise from last week.

The national average price of gas reached $4.11 in July 2008, which is the highest price on record.
