Dayton, Ohio – Five individuals were transported to the hospital after a drunk driver triggered a chain reaction involving three automobiles, according to authorities.
Police responded to the crash at the intersection of Philadelphia Drive and Forest Grove Avenue. Responding officers at the scene said the drunk driver struck another vehicle, causing it to collide with a third vehicle in front of them.
As a result of an accident, one of the automobiles was turned onto its roof with four passengers inside. According to the DPD, there were two other people in the vehicle with the drunk driver.
According to the DPD, a total of five individuals were transported to the hospital, with two of the victims suffering from severe injuries.
