FC Industries strengthens Dayton commitment with new manufacturing facility and job growth

Dayton, Ohio — FC Industries, a family-owned manufacturing company with deep roots in the Dayton area, celebrated the opening of its new manufacturing facility on Webster Street in Harrison Township on Wednesday, November 13. For the Dayton-based company, which has been a pillar in the local business since 1972, this growth signals a major turning point.

With additional 40,000 square feet of manufacturing space, the new building, FC Building 2, supports FC Industries’ expanding activities. Designed to serve two of FC’s subsidiaries, MC Coating and BarSplice Products, the facility will help fulfill the rising needs of the company’s consumers. MC Coating will move from its current Miamisburg site, while BarSplice Products will use the extra space to increase rebar manufacturing activities.

FC Industries claims that the new facility will let the business improve its service capacity, especially in terms of offering premium rebar materials and specialized epoxy coating services. Growing demand for these services both locally and regionally is a trend FC Industries is ready to support.

“This growth not only enhances our service capabilities but also strengthens our commitment to the Dayton community,” the company said in a release.

As a family-owned business with a longstanding history in the area, FC Industries highlights its commitment to local economic development and community assistance through its growth. Rather than moving or outsourcing, the company’s choice to grow inside Dayton shows a dedication to generate more employment and support a stronger manufacturing industry in the area.

Community leaders, staff members, and partners gathered for the opening ceremony to honor this new chapter for FC Industries. Maintaining its commitment in Dayton, the business makes a strong statement: its prosperity is entwined with the welfare and growth of the surrounding neighborhood.

The inclusion of FC Building 2 is good news for the Dayton manufacturing industry.
