Dayton, Ohio – Authorities in Ohio continue to search for 30-year-old Cierra J. Chapman, who vanished under suspicious circumstances in late 2022. The Dayton Police Department, with the support of the FBI’s Cincinnati Field Office, remains dedicated to uncovering what happened to the missing woman and bringing those responsible to justice.
Chapman was last seen in the early morning hours of December 27, 2022, at an apartment on Autumn Woods Drive in Trotwood, a suburb near Dayton. Just two days later, she was reported missing. A major break in the case came on January 6, 2023, when Chapman’s 2014 Cadillac SRX SUV was discovered in Middletown, Ohio. Disturbingly, her purse and other personal belongings were still inside the vehicle, but Chapman herself was nowhere to be found.
Due to the circumstances, investigators have classified the case as suspicious. Despite extensive efforts, Chapman has not been located, and authorities fear foul play may be involved.
Chapman is described as a Black female, 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing approximately 115 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Her date of birth is November 12, 1992.
In an effort to bring in new leads, the FBI is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to the recovery of Cierra J. Chapman and the identification, arrest, and conviction of the person or persons responsible for her disappearance.
The Dayton Police Department continues to urge the public to come forward with any information, no matter how small it may seem. “The disappearance of Cierra Chapman is being actively investigated and is considered suspicious,” the department stated.
