Dayton’s Victoria Theatre will get brand new roof after more than three decades

Dayton, Ohio – For the first time in more than three decades, Dayton’s Victoria Theatre will get a brand new roof.

According to organizers, the construction of the roof had already begun, and new materials were lifted to the top of the theater.

The construction of the new roof would save them money in the future and keep the interior in good condition, since the company had been paying thousands of dollars for repairs numerous times.

“The new roof is being paid for through endowment funds and ongoing fundraising efforts,” Ty Sutton, President and CEO of Dayton Live, said.

The Schuster Center will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2023, and it is also due for a new roof.

“We are currently raising funds for this project and the PDAC grant application is part of that process – more than $1 million is needed,” said Sutton.
