Dayton police seek assistance in locating missing 12-year-old boy missing since December 31

Dayton, Ohio – The Dayton Police Department (DPD) is urgently seeking help from the public to locate 12-year-old Nehemiah Richardson, who has been missing since December 31, 2024. He was last believed to be in the Five Oaks area.

Details of Nehemiah’s Disappearance

Nehemiah, described as a 12-year-old male, stands 5’8” tall, weighs 190 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes. According to his mother, Nehemiah went to a friend’s house—referred to as “Gideon”—on New Year’s Eve, asking to spend the night. Since then, he has not returned home, and his whereabouts remain unknown.

The situation is being treated as critical due to Nehemiah’s age and the circumstances of his disappearance. The Dayton Police Department is working diligently to locate him, but they need help from the community.
