
Dayton, Ohio – After a public appeal for help, the Dayton Police Department has confirmed that Mr. Ernest A. Gray has been located. The 83-year-old man was previously reported missing after he was last seen on the evening of October 23, 2025, around 6:30 p.m., near 4500 Saint Johns Avenue in Dayton, Ohio.
Authorities were especially concerned for Mr. Gray’s safety due to his medical condition. His disappearance prompted an urgent call for assistance from the community and local media.
At the time he went missing, Mr. Gray was wearing a blue hat, though the colors of his jacket and pants were unknown. His physical description included a height of 6 feet 2 inches, 170 pounds, with brown eyes and a bald head. He was born on August 31, 1942.
