Dayton police investigating a robbery at a fast food restaurant

Dayton, Ohio – A Rally’s fast food restaurant was the target of an armed robbery attempt in the early hours of Wednesday morning by two suspects.

The Montgomery County Regional Dispatch reports that two masked individuals dressed in all black entered the Rally’s fast food restaurant located in the 1100 block of South Smithville Road. It was said that at least one of the suspects was found to be in possession of a weapon.

According to the Montgomery County Regional Dispatch, officers were sent to the location where the robbery took place at approximately 1:12 a.m. The assistance of a K-9 unit was also required in the investigation.

Information on the suspects and the amount of money stolen in the robbery was not released.
