Dayton Police Department to host Cram the Cruiser school supply drive in August

Dayton, Ohio – The Dayton Police Department is organizing a school supply drive, Cram the Cruiser, to support students in local City of Dayton schools. Community members are encouraged to drop off donations at the Safety Building located at 335 W. Third Street, Dayton, Ohio, on August 9th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This initiative aims to gather essential school supplies that will be distributed across various schools in Dayton, ensuring that students have the necessary materials for a successful school year.

The most needed items include:

  • Notebooks
  • Pre-Sharpened Pencils and Pens
  • Pencil Sharpeners
  • Folders
  • Loose Leaf Paper
  • Art Supplies
  • Dry Erase & Permanent Markers
  • Sanitary Pads & Tampons
  • Disinfectant Wipes
  • Paper Towels
  • Ziploc Bags
  • Kleenex
