On February 25, 2025, the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) in Tennessee reached out to the Dayton Police Department to confirm whether the individual in question was an employee of the department. PCSO then informed Dayton authorities that the recruit was under investigation for a crime involving a 17-year-old minor in their jurisdiction.
Upon receiving this information, Dayton Police fully cooperated with the investigation. As the situation unfolded, the recruit was arrested on a warrant related to solicitation of a minor.
