Dayton, Ohio – The Dayton Police Department (DPD) is inviting community members to participate in their annual “Can” The Cruiser Thanksgiving food drive, an initiative aimed at supporting families in need during the holiday season. This event, scheduled for Thursday, November 21, 2024, offers an opportunity to give back and help the local community.
The food drive will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Dayton Police Department located at 335 W. Third Street, Dayton, Ohio 45402. DPD is collecting a variety of non-perishable food items, including canned goods, pasta, sauces, beans, and other shelf-stable products. All donations will benefit the House of Bread, a local organization committed to combating hunger and providing food security for Dayton residents.
