Dayton, Ohio – The Dayton Police Department is relieved to report that Joyce Richardson, a 17-year-old who had been reported missing, has safely returned home.
Joyce was last seen on Sunday, October 13, 2024, when she left her home in the 3500 block of Cornell Drive around 12:00 p.m. to meet friends. However, concern for her well-being grew after she did not return home, and her family reported her missing when she missed school the following day.
She was last seen wearing black sweatpants and a black sweatshirt and was reportedly heading towards the Philadelphia and Hillcrest areas. Dayton Police urged the public to provide any information about her whereabouts by contacting either the department at (937) 333-2677 or Crime Stoppers at (937) 222-STOP.
Authorities expressed concern for Joyce’s safety as she had not been in contact with her family since her disappearance. The search for Joyce prompted the Dayton Police Department to request the community’s help in locating her, hoping for any leads that could reunite her with her family.
Fortunately, Joyce has since returned home and is confirmed to be safe. The Dayton Police Department thanks the community for its assistance and cooperation during the search and encourages continued vigilance in keeping local residents safe.
