Dayton families invited to support local kids and teens at the Kids Entrepreneur Expo next week

Dayton, Ohio – Young entrepreneurs in Dayton will have an exciting opportunity to showcase their talents and business skills at the Kids Entrepreneur Expo on Saturday, March 15. This event will take place at the Northwest Recreation Center, 1600 Princeton Dr., from 10 a.m. to noon. Admission is free, but purchases are cash only.

A Marketplace for Young Entrepreneurs

Kids and teens, ages 6 to 17, will set up booths to display and sell their handmade products, original artwork, baked goods, lemonade, jewelry, and more. The event offers children a hands-on experience in entrepreneurship, teaching them the basics of budgeting, selling, and marketing their creations.

This event is also a great way for parents and grandparents to help kids learn smart shopping habits. By giving children a set amount of money to spend, they can practice budgeting and saving while supporting their peers.

How to Participate

For young business minds who want to launch their own venture, booth space is available for just $3. Each booth includes:

  • One 6-ft table and two chairs
  • Up to two kids per booth (with one supervising adult)
  • Ability to sell up to two different products to ensure fairness

Spots are limited, so early registration is encouraged at daytonrec.com.

Whether you’re a young entrepreneur looking to sell your creations or a shopper looking for unique finds, the Kids Entrepreneur Expo is an event not to be missed. Come out, support these young go-getters, and see what amazing talents Dayton’s future business leaders have to offer!
