Dayton driver who led police on a high-speed chase taken into custody

Dayton, Ohio – Authorities said the man who led police on a high-speed chase on Monday night has been taken into custody.

On Monday, Feb. 28, at 7 p.m., police saw a vehicle leave what they assumed to be a drug house, according to a Moraine Police Department officer in charge of the investigation. Attempts were made to pull over the car because it didn’t have a license plate. However, the driver refused to do so, which led police on a high-speed chase.

The driver, Kaleb Nothstine of Dayton, was arrested and a preliminary hearing was held Tuesday.

He is facing two charges of Failure to Comply with a Police Officer stemming from the chase.
