Dayton City Commission discussed the use of funds received from the American Rescue Plan Act

Dayton, Ohio – At a meeting on Wednesday, the Dayton City Commission talked about the money the city got from the American Rescue Plan Act on the same day.

The American Rescue Plan awarded $138 million to Dayton. The City of Dayton announced that the money received from the act will be used for the improvement of the following areas:

  • Neighborhoods
  • Amenities
  • Major catalytic projects
  • City projects
  • Community investments
  • External awards

The money must be obligated before December 31, 2024.
