Dayton, Ohio – The Dayton Art Institute has published its exhibition schedule for 2022, which includes works by African American artists as well as paintings by Vincent van Gogh.
“Black Heritage Through Visual Rhythms” kicks off the special exhibition season on February 26. In 2022, the DAI will host three major special exhibits.
According to a press release, “Black Heritage Through Visual Rhythms” is a partnership with Dayton’s African American Visual Artists Guild that will exhibit art by African American artists from all around the country. The show will be open to the public through May 22nd.
Focus Exhibitions, a series of smaller, intimate exhibitions, will be part of the 2022 schedule.
At the “Van Gogh and European Landscapes” exhibition, which runs from March 5 to September 4, a pair of Van Gogh paintings will be on display.
