Crews put out a fire at a vacant residence in Dayton

Dayton, Ohio – Firefighters were called to a fire that broke out at a residence in Dayton on Sunday evening.

Montgomery County Regional Dispatch sent the fire crews to the residence on Bierce Avenue in Dayton after receiving a call about a fire around 7:30 p.m.

The fire was put out in about half an hour upon the arrival of the crews.

Responding firefighters said the house was vacant.

There were no injuries reported.
