Dayton, Ohio – On Wednesday afternoon, authorities responded to reports of a person being shot, which resulted in the closure of a portion of Wyoming Avenue in both directions at this time.
At around one in the afternoon, authorities and medical personnel were sent to the vicinity of Wyoming Street and Steele Avenue in response to a report of a person having been shot.
A male with a gunshot wound to the neck was discovered, according to the dispatch records. The victim was transported by a medic truck to a hospital.
There is now word on the condition of the victim.
The portion of Wyoming Street, between Steele Avenue and Dover Street, was closed due to the ongoing investigation by authorities.
