Dayton, Ohio – A fire destroyed a residence in Dayton on Wednesday evening, and firefighters were sent in a response.
According to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch, crews were summoned in the vicinity of Meredith Street and West Riverview Avenue at 7:10 p.m. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Responding crews said they encountered flames and thick black smoke coming out of the structure.
According to information obtained from authorities, the home was abandoned.
There have been no reported injuries.
