A fire at the Proctor and Gamble building located in Vandalia brought the fire crews at the scene Saturday morning

Dayton, Ohio – Multiple fire crews were dispatched to the scene in the 1800 block of Union Airpark Boulevard in Vandalia following a 911 call in regards to a fire incident.

According to the available information, the whole Proctor and Gamble building located in Vandalia had to be evacuated due to a fire. The initial report about the fire incident came around 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, and crews immediately headed to the scene.

Fire crews who responded to the scene confirmed that no injuries or fatalities had been reported in the incident.

Upon arrival, heavy smoke was seen coming from the back of the building, and fire crews believe that a machine in the building caused the fire. However, there is an ongoing investigation that should confirm if the machine failure was the real reason for the fire incident.

Firefighters were able to stop the fire from spreading and eventually put it out completely.

So far, no new information has been given, but more information is expected by the end of the day or tomorrow.
