31-year-old missing man found dead in a West Chester pond

West Chester, Ohio – The body of a man who had been missing since January was discovered in a West Chester pond.

The remains of the body have been identified by the Butler County Coroner’s Office as those of the missing 31-year-old Alexander Enslen.

An initial investigation showed Enslen died as a result of drowning. His death has been ruled accidental.

The body of Enslen was found by a person walking near the pond on Saturday, who reported his finding to authorities. Crews pulled the body from the pond and transported it to the coroner’s office for identification.

Enslen was last seen walking on Cincinnati Dayton Road in the early morning hours of January 31st. His body was discovered near the place where he was last seen.

Authorities did not release additional information.
