Dayton – Total sales for 2020 reached 17,283, compared to 16,625 in 2019, went up almost 4%. Total sales volume for the year finished at $3.4 billion, compared to $2.9 billion in 2019, its a 15% jump.
Realtors were in the “Essential workers” part so they made a good money in the middle of this pandemic. Its interesting to mention that some of the “Open house” were virtual on line on Facebook.
One of the reason for the prices to go up this year was a lowered number of offered houses on the market, compared to last year in 2019 total number of houses for sale was 20,289, however this year only 19,336 houses were posted for sale. So no wonder why the price went up.
