Coronavirus cases drop under 3000 for the first time in 2021

Dayton – 2993 cases were reported in Ohio, that is one in every six patients has been tested positive for Coronavirus per Ohio Hospital Association.

The Ohio Department of Health reported 98 new hospitalizations in the past 24 hours.

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine announced this Friday that he signed an order to extend the curfew until the end of the month.

The curfew, which was set to expire Saturday 01.30.21, will remain from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. as part of a statewide effort to help curb the spread of the coronavirus.
DeWine said curfew would be extended because of the number of COVID cases.
The Ohio Department of Health reported 864,322 cases so far.
